Students’ Metacognitive Strategy Pattern in English Academic Writing Learning Using Zoom

Students have a different pattern in using the learning strategy. It is seen their activity when they do writing. The objective of this research was to observe students’ metacognitive strategy English Academic Writing through an online zoom application. method used descriptive qualitative research. data taken from observation and survey 20 participants who got academic writing subject 2019/2020 years at Program Study Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika. Analysis procedures include patterns, identifying categorizing, analysis. results showed that students process with patterns. can see steps implemented class. Students’ planning, identifying, correcting errors, revising, rereading, monitoring, evaluating. Metacognitive strategies had by consciously control because each segment one’s stored world knowledge help create story. study's implication managing patterns teacher learning. has be appropriate needs.
